About Us
My name is Nadine Barber and I live with my dogs in a small village on the beautiful Norfolk Broads.
I grew up in a family that always owned dogs which included an Afghan Hound,a Rough Collie and a Yorkshire Terrier ( an eclectic mix ) but it wasn't untill 1992 that we decided upon a golden retriever, that is when Rosie arrived.
Rosie was a dog full of charecter,she was very loyal and full of fun and left us with many happy and funny memories over the 16.5 years that she was alive.
Two years after getting Rosie I contacted Julie and Paul Seamons (Messano)from whom I purchased Alfie.He was qutie simply the perfect dog and was very best friends with Rosie which made it all the more heartbreaking when we lost him at just 4 years old.
Later in the year that Alfie died Julie and Paul let Chester come and join us and he soon helped to mend many broken hearts.
Julie and Paul have been very supportive over the years with their friendship,help and advice plus the lovely dogs that they have bred that I own.
Although I enjoy showing the dogs I get the most pleasure from them either at home or out and about on a lovely walk.
Mabel recently joined us and stole our hearts as soon as she arrived, she was bred by Mary Neil (Moloko) to whom I am very grateful,and her lines go back to Messano Blueprint a dog I always admired for his lovely construction and true 'golden' qualities.
This is our golden family..............................so far !
